Create New Outreach

To send a new outreach, hit the "+New outreach" button on the top right. Then you select to create a new mail or select from a saved template.

If you select the new outreach, the mail sender is similar to the gmail UI you regularly use.

You can use your previously saved template. You can use the saved template by clicking the "Use template" button from the "+New outreach" dropdown (hover over it to see the dropdown).

Then simply fill out the details like a regular email like, selecting the contacts, subject line, mail body, etc, then simply hit "Send".

Use Case

Imagine you're doing outreach for a website, where you didn't find a contact email. You only have their contact form. So, to outreach with this site and manage it from orkap, all you have to do is create an outreach. But instead of adding an email in the "To", place the website URL instead. Then create the outreach.

Now, you'll see the outreach is created, and when you open it, you'll find the inbound mail. Please copy it.

Now, remember you have the contact form on their website? Do fill out the details but in the contact email field (Or relevant field) add your inbound mail which you've just copied from the outreach.

So, when the site's marketer (or relevant user) contacts you back, you'll get the replies on the outreach you created in orkap. You might have to click the update mail in the outreach to add their email to contacts. But, that's how you can communicate for outreach from a single place.

Product Selector

In this dropdown, you can select your desired product (if you have multiple). It displays all mails related to the product you're managing. This helps you filter communications based on specific products.

You can also filter the outreach with custom fields. Simply click the button for "Filter by Custom Fields". If you have available custom fields, you can filter the outreach with it.

Mailbox Selector

In the "From: *" dropdown, you can select your desired mailbox. No matter what mailbox you have assigned with the product, you can still change from which mailbox you want to send your mails from.

Suppose you have more than 1 mailbox. You have 1 mailbox assigned with a product. But you can still choose a different mailbox from the assigned one.

Shortcode Support

Also, you can use the shortcode support. So, you can use them to get data dynamically (If available). Here's the list of shortcodes you can use in the mail body:

- {{email}}
- {{phone}}
- {{website}}
- {{notes}}

AI Support

We also have OpenAI support, to help you write better. Go to Settings > Integration, to find the OpenAI option. Then click the 3-dot to open its settings. Now, you need to add the API key here.

Signature

You can also use the signature feature, to automatically add a signature when you create outreach.

Draft

You can also keep your mails in draft, if you need to send them later. You can check all your drafted emails from Inbox > Drafts.

Click here to go to drafts to see your saved yes unsent outreaches.

Scheduled

Scheduled messages are what it means. You can write an email to send it on a specific date and time. You can see the schedule time selector just beside the "Send" button.

If you schedule any mails, you can see the scheduled mails from Inbox > Scheduled.
