Create Segments

You can create segments from the contacts > Segment page.

Now, click the “+Add Segment”. Now, you can add your segment by entering the segment name and description.

How to Add Contacts in Segment

Now, if you have created a segment, you can add contacts in the segment. To contacts in a segment you need to go to the Contacts section.

For Bulk Editing

To add contacts in segments in bulk, click the checkbox in the top left to select all contacts. Then from the “Action Type” dropdown, select “Assign Segment”. Then from the “Select” dropdown pick your desired segment. Now hit the “Apply” button to assign segments to all selected contacts.

For Single

To assign segments to a single contact, select the contact. Then click the 3-dot icon for the action menu and click “Edit”. Then from the “Segment” dropdown, select your desired segment and click “Save”.

Use Case

Segments are like groups. You can add contacts in groups. For example, Youtuber, influencer, LinkedIn, affiliates etc,. These segments will contain the contacts of relevant emails.

So, you can select a segment when creating an outreach and send the mail to every contact in the segment.

Think of this like an advanced version of bulk mailing.
